24-03 2024 OPWC Pennsylvania Ave. & Pittsburgh Dr. Improvements The Base Bid includes resurfacing Pennsylvania Avenue (entire limits) and Pittsburgh Drive (Section Line to Houk), pavements repairs, restriping, curb ramps, and signage. The project also includes widening for a new turn lane at Pennsylvania Ave. and Heritage Blvd, new multi-use path on the north side of Pennsylvania Ave. from Euclid Ave. to Hayes Colony apartments, sidewalk improvements, and RRFB installation at Euclid Avenue. Add-Alternate #1 includes replacement of black vinyl coated fence on fairgrounds property. Notice to Proceed is expected to be issued by June 10, 2024. All work along Pennsylvania Avenue must be completed by September 13, 2024. Pittsburgh Drive resurfacing may not begin until the Sawmill Parkway detour route is no longer needed (expected around July 27, 2024) and must be completed by October 4, 2024. 04/25/2024 02:00 PM
