CONTRACT #2023-03: The work primarily consists of: The construction of streetscape improvements on N/S Bridge Street (M-100) from E/W Scott Street to E/W Main Street, including the resurfacing of the roadway between E/W Front Street and E/W Main Street; the construction of streetscape improvements on W River Street from Harrison Street to S Bridge Street; Site Improvements at

Fitzgerald Memorial Field; Riverbank improvements along the Grand River.Non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting at Grand Ledge City Hall (310 Greenwood St, Grand Ledge, MI 48837) is Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., EST. Deadline for bidder inquiries is Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at 4:00 p.m., EST. All addenda will be posted no later than Friday, June 23, 2023, at 4:00 p.m., EST. Bids shall be submitted on the forms provided by the Owner and shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, payable to the City of Grand Ledge for an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total base bid price. The accepted bidder shall be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond, and Labor and Material Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price, and Maintenance and Guarantee Bond of 50% for two years of the Final Contract Price. The cost of the bonds will be paid by the accepted bidder. Each bidder agrees to waive any claim it has or may have against the Owner, Architect/Engineer, and their respective Employees, arising out of or in connection with the administration, evaluation, or recommendation of any bid. The City of Grand Ledge reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, and to waive any informalities, therein when such waiver is in the interest of the City of Grand Ledge, and to award the contract to other than the low bidder.
