Bids received after the time set for the opening may be rejected. Included in this work is the interior fit-up of an existing lower level space, renovations to existing interior spaces including conference room, lobby, rest room and storage room. The interior fit-up work will include a new mechanical system and electrical improvements. This project is subject to State of Connecticut Prevailing Wage requirements. Contractors must comply with the State of Connecticut Department of Administrative Services (DAS) Contractor Prequalification Program for any contract over $500,000. The classification for which construction contractors are being sought is a follows: General Building Construction (Group B). This project is funded in part by State grant funds provided by the Connecticut State Library. The project is subject to state set-aside and contract compliance requirements. Contractors are required to provide Performance Bonds covering 100% of any contract over $100,000.
