LEGAL NOTICE CITY OF LIMA, OHIO 2021-2022 PROPERTY MAINTENANCE Sealed bids will be received by the Auditor’s Office in an envelope marked “BID FOR 2021-2022 PROPERTY MAINTENANCE” attention Purchasing Department of the City of Lima, Ohio, Municipal Center, 50 Town Square, Lima, Ohio 45801, until 10:00 A.M., Eastern Standard Time of Ohio, on Tuesday November 24, 2020. Due to the City Building being closed to the public please drop off all bids in the drop box outside the main doors of 50 Town Square. The box will be checked one final time at 10:00 A.M. on bid opening day. Outside of the envelope not being properly marked may result in bid not being received by the Purchasing Department before the deadline and could result in bid being disqualified. Bids will then be opened and read aloud for: TO PROVIDE WEED (as defined in Chapter 1802.02), TRASH (as described in Chapter 1806.08), EXCAVATION REMEDIATION, BOARD-UP SERVICES AND SIDEWALK SNOW/ICE REMOVAL FOR PROPERTY
MAINTENANCE CODE ENFORCEMENT AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT THE CITY OF LIMA FOR THE 2021 - 2022 CALENDAR YEARS. This work shall be performed in accordance with specifications available in the Department of Community Development, located in the Municipal Center, 50 Town Square, Lima, Ohio. Please call 419-221-5237 to arrange a time to pick up a bid packet. Bidders can also find specifications on the City’s website at www.cityhall.lima.oh.us by accessing the Purchasing link located on the Auditor’s page. A pre-bid meeting will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 via GoToMeeting. Meeting information will be included in the bid packet. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.
