Buyer Contact: Rhen Cain rcain@treasury.ga.gov 4046562171 Description: The Office of the State Treasurer (hereinafter, “OST”) is soliciting proposals from U.S. banks (hereinafter, “Bank” or “Banks”) interested in providing Merchant Card Services (Section B) to certain State of Georgia State Entities. Banks are required to be compliant with State policies, agreements, and guidelines. Banks are also required to be participants or qualified and willing to be participants in the State of Georgia Secure Deposit Program. Compliance (Section A.4) will be an evaluation criterion. The State Treasurer and OST want to optimize the value to the state and the Banks by embracing the concept of relationship banking. Merchant Card Services are one component. This Request for Qualified Banks (“RFQB”) is intended to identify interested and qualified Banks which meet or exceed the identified requirements contained herein. This RFQB may result in the selection through competitive negotiations of Banks that will provide specific merchant card services. The intent is to select Banks which will execute statewide Master Service Agreements with OST. We invite your Bank to submit a proposal to us by 4:30pm EDT on August 15, 2023 for consideration. This procurement is being conducted by the Office of State Treasurer in accordance with O.C.G.A. §§ 50-17-50 et seq.
