Grossenbacher Water Treatment Plant - Well No. 8 Replacement (fka Well 1A)

Construction of a new Lower Floridan Aquifer Drinking Water Well to replace the existing Upper Floridan Aquifer Well as required by the Consumptive Use Permit (CUP) issued by the St. Johns River Water Management District (SJRWMD). Per the current SJRWMD Consumptive Use Permit, all Upper Floridan Aquifer Drinking Water Wells must be replaced by Lower Floridan Aquifer Wells by the year 2017.
