Town Monkton Request for Design/Construct Proposals The Town of Monkton is requestioning Design/Construct Proposals for the construction of an ADA compliant parking facility for the Russell Memorial Library at the Monkton Town Office. The work will include a 2,000 sq ft paved parking area, a 5 ft x 86 ft concrete walkway with hand rail and a stormwater management system. General scope of work: • Excavate to subgrade and dispose of excavated material, install road fabric and place and compact 16" base and 3" top gravel • Install stormwater management system • Construct a concrete sidewalk with handrail from the parking area to the library patio. • Pave access road and parking area with 3 inches thick pavement Proposal details • Detailed description of work to be performed • Listing and specifications of materials to be incorporated in the work. • Lump Sum Design/Construct Price • Schedule of payments Questions and arrangements to view the work should be directed to Stan Wilbur, Town Administrator at 802-453-3828 or twonadministrator@monktonvt.com Proposals will be received at Town Office, by mail at PO Box 12, Monkton, VT 05469 or by e-mail addressed to townadministrator@monktonvt.com until 2:00 pm Monday, March 25, 2024.
