RFP #23-138 - Sign Language Interpreting for the Deaf and Hard ofHearing

Frederick County, Maryland requires the use of interpreting services for the deaf and hard of hearing as needed and on aroutine basis for library story time, Parks and Recreation activities, public meetings, and other County events. Services are also needed in emergency situations for County employees and citizens. The Contractor must be engaged in sign language interpretation services for a minimum of three (3) years and shall provide the services of qualified and certified interpreters for citizens and employees who are deaf or hard of hearing to facilitate communications in their relationships with the County both in-person and through video remote interpreting (VRI).
