Project Description: The purpose of this Project is to improve the

freeway between Mounts Road and 41st Division Drive. Some of the Project’s critical improvements shall provide a fourth general purpose and multiple auxiliary north- and southbound lanes along I-5, extend HOV lanes, replace an interchange and lower roadway grade for Sound Transit Rail Line, and construct a roundabout. The Project’s work shall be conducted and performed in such a manner as to minimize adverse impacts to the public while and maximize transparency and communication with local communities.
