Design- Holistic Redesign of Building-188 Sherbourne StreetRFP 22347Closing Date:02/21/2023 02:00:00 PM ETDetail: CONCEPT OVERVIEW AND INTRODUCTION Background 188 Sherbourne Street was renovated in to become a multi-unit residential building with three units spread throughout three levels and a basement for storage. The building had two three-bedroom units and one two-bedroom units. There are multiple entrances providing access to the various units in the house. In 2022 there was a fire at this building on the top floor. This incident forced the residents to relocate, and made the building inhabitable. Toronto Community Housing is seeking an innovative consultant team to work collaboratively to redesign the interior of the building to make it suitable for occupancy 188 Sherbourne Street. TCHC will be awarding to the highest scored Proposal. This RFP Category of Work is categorized as Design & Engineering (D&E). The scope of work in this RFP is sub-categorized as Multidiscipline D&E

services. The Services is to be completed in six (6) phases, and the Proponent must bid on all phases. Only phase one (1), two (2) and three (3) along with cash allowances shall be awarded as it has received budgetary approval. Phases four (4), five (5) and six (6) are tentatively expected to be awarded and completed between the years of 2023 to 2027 pending budgetary availability and consultant performance.
