Invitation to Bid - City of Sammamish - Inglewood Middle School Athletic Field Improvements The City of Sammamish is soliciting bid proposals from contractors for the construction of the Inglewood Middle School Athletic Field Improvements. Work under this contract will include, but is not be limited to, removing existing natural turf baseball, softball and football/soccer fields including the cinder running track; stormwater improvements; utility connections; new vertically drained, rubberized running track; coordination with synthetic turf contractor; construction of new field perimeter fencing including ball control netting; chain link and ball control netting backstops; pedestrian pathway connections; coordination with new modular restroom building; and restoration of all disturbed areas. The estimated Construction Cost for the Project is $9,950,000. Sealed bid proposals plainly marked “City of Sammamish, Inglewood Middle School Athletic Field Improvements” on the outside of the

mailing envelope, addressed to the City of Sammamish, 801 228th Avenue SE, Sammamish, WA 98075, will be accepted until 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 14, 2023. Bid proposals may also be hand-delivered in person to the main desk on the first floor of City Hall by the required date and time. Proposals delivered after the posted deadline will not be considered for selection. No faxed, telephone, or emailed proposals will be accepted. While the site is open to the public, an informational site visit is highly recommended. One pre-bid conference will be held at 10:30 am (local time) on Monday, August 14th, 2023. All interested parties shall meet at Inglewood Middle School at the north bus turnaround near the tennis courts at 24120 NE 8th Street, Sammamish, 98075. Plans, Specifications, addenda, Bidders list, and plan holders list for this Project are available through the City of Sammamish's on-line plan room at www.bxwa.com. Bidders must register to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and to be placed on the Bidders List.
