East Market Street Streetscape Improvements

The “East Market Street Streetscape Improvements” project is located between South Brook Street and Baxter Avenue and includes enhancements to improve pedestrian and bicycle facilities along East Market Street from Brook Street to Baxter Avenue, including concrete flatwork, asphalt resurfacing, landscaping, and traffic signal work. Bidders and DBE subcontractors must be prequalified with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and possess a Certificate of Eligibility at the time of the bid opening. All other subcontractors must be prequalified when accepting subcontracts. Bidder is required to furnish a Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Total Bid. The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal established for this contract is six percent (6%) of the total value of the contract.
