Professional Project Manager for New K-8 School Design & Build Project Description :This Terms of Reference defines the scope of services the Professional Project Manager shall perform during the design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and warranty period of a new school project. The New School Project and recommended school plan accommodates and makes provision for: 32 full-size classrooms, of which, 5 are allocated for kindergarten uses; Special needs area of 393.8 m2; Designated space for teachers to work, meet and prepare programs; Detached medicine lodge/gathering space to conduct traditional community teachings and ceremonies; Large-scale gymnasium with sliding partition wall, stage, bleachers and elevated running track to support physical education and special occasion activities; Commercial kitchen with space for walk-in fridge and freezer and cafeteria amenity; Mechanical Services floor (facility and associated works) with loading zone and storage area; A multi-floor gross facility area of 7,001.4m2; Site Servicing (water, sewer, hydro, fiber-optics, etc.) to service the new school site; A skyway or skybridge that will connect the new school to a future detached building.
