Notice of Intent to Execute a Sole Source Succeeding Lease in Melville, NY

The U.S. Government currently occupies 4,378 ABOA or 5,184 RSF of office andrelated space in a building under a lease in Melville, NY that will be expiring. TheGovernment considers alternative space if economically advantageous and meetsGovernment requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainabilitystandards per the terms of the Lease. In making this determination, the Governmentconsiders, among other things, the availability of alternative space that can potentiallysatisfy the Government's requirements, as well as costs likley to be incurred throughrelocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements andtelecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency
