March 14, 2024 | Advertisements Request for General Contractor Prequalification Submittals- Brooks Hall Renovation, Phase I By blmurray North Carolina State University is seeking qualification statements from general contractors for improvements to Brooks Hall Renovation, Phase I, located in the North campus precinct. The project scope includes renovating the first floor of Brooks Hall’s Matsumoto Wing to create flexible research space for the College of Design. The scope includes floor plan changes, a storefront facing the courtyard, new HVAC equipment, and a new chase for the distribution duct for all three floors. To qualify, the contractor must have a general contractor’s license in the State of North Carolina as well as applicable bonding requirements. The contractor must show comparable work experience, both in complexity and dollar value, and preferably in a university campus environment, to the scope of work outlined above. To be considered, the contractor must obtain an

application package from the NC State University Project Manager and submit a fully completed qualification document by 5:00 pm, April 15, 2024, to David Hammock, project manager, by email only to DC_Formal_Prequal@ncsu.edu. No hard copies will be accepted. Application packages will be available for download from the NC State website after March 17, 2024 (see below). If necessary, please contact the project manager via email (preferred) or phone to request a package.
