THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTE; THE VA IS NOT SEEKING PRICING OR OFFERS. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 20, in support of Veteran Affairs Healthcare System, is currently requesting information to determine the existence of viable commercial sources for Lynx Server migration and Emergency Notification System Expansion for Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center, Spokane WA. Description of Services: The contractor shall provide Linx Server migration and Emergency Duress Notification System installation. The Key Requirements are provided below. The NAICS code assigned is: 561621 Security System and Services, Business size standard is $22M. The Government is not soliciting offers at this time, and it will be the Contracting Officer who will determine which suggested changes are accepted. This is a sources sought notice to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources. A solicitation is not currently available. Responses to this
request will be considered for the purpose of determining how the requirements will be stated and how the procurement will be conducted. This sources sought announcement is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or to award a contract. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. Key Requirement 1. Background The Spokane VAMC requires Linx Server migration and installation of additional notification Strobes and Panic buttons to expand current security and duress notification capabilities on the VA Campus. 2. Scope of work Complete server migration to VA provided server. Provide and install duress notification strobes, panic buttons, police panic boxes and supporting licenses. 3. Specific Requirements: Install 500 Power over Ethernet (POE) Panic buttons and 2000 Seats throughout facility Install additional licenses for more staff members to have the ability to activate system for a response. Install Visual Strobes with sirens to alert all employees and visitors of a facility alert. Install outdoor panic Police Boxes attached to exiting light poles for immediate police attention in parking lots Complete LynxGuide Server Migration - move the Lynx server from its current physical server running Windows 2008 to a Virtual Server set up by the VA . 3.
