The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDCP), National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH), DART, Cincinnati, Ohio intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to: Quantum Analytics, 3400 East Third Ave., Foster City, City 94404 for a 3 year Preventative Maintenance Service Contract (PM) consisting of a Base Year with 2 - one year Option Periods for their Syft Voice200ultra SIFT-MS (Selected Ion Flow Tube Mass Spectrometry).This Preventative Maintenance Contract includes all: Parts, Travel, Labor, Two (2) PM visits per year, PM parts and Basic Technical Support.Quantum Analytics is the only company in the U.S. that has a licensing agreement with Syft to market-sell and provide preventive maintenance services for Syft Technologies Instruments. Quatum Analytics as the US Authorized Distributor of Syft Technologies, has access to all properitary parts and specifications.This contract action is for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within seven (7) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
