The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), in cooperation with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), announce the availability of the Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Homer Airport Improvements project for public review.The project will improve safety for runway operations, taxiing, and aircraft parking; extend the service life of airport facilities; and increase availability of leased tie-down facilities for GA users.Electronic versions of the Draft EA are now available for public viewing at: https://dot.alaska.gov/creg/homerairport/documents.shtml. Hard copies will be made available at the Homer Public Library, 500 Hazel Ave, Homer, AK.Comments on the Draft EA are requested by March 4, 2022.
