PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE:The National Park Service, Interior Regions 3/4/5, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a Generator Replacement project at Indiana Dunes National Park in Porter, IN.SCOPE OF WORK: The existing generator¿s shed will be demolished, and an outdoor electric generator shall be installed. Replace Generator, Automatic transfer switch, and facility switch gear with new. Generator is 150 KW natural gas and will be replaced with an updated model. Switch gear in Headquarters building (104) is fed from commercial power and distributes power to Buildings 103, 102, 101 and 112 through associated breakers within the switch gear. All of which is in need of replacement. The associated Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) powers all of these facilities during commercial power outages, to include the network/server room.SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6423Q0001PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $100,000 and $250,000TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a
firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by January 2023 with performance to begin in January 2023 and required to be completed within 180 days of issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Porter County, IN will apply.EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical Capability and PriceNorth American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238210, and the size standard is $16.5 million. This project is set aside 100% for Total Small Businesses.SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation.
