Lake City, Florida $176,515.43 The Suwannee River Water Management District is requesting sealed bids for the Westwood West #3 timber sale. This timber sale is on 345 acres of 35-year old planted Loblolly Pine and Longleaf Pine, and natural hardwood located on parts of Section 13, T 2 North, R 10 East and Section 18,T 2 North, Range 11 East in Madison County, Florida. This sale consists of two areas. Sale Area 1 is a 298-acre marked second thinning of planted loblolly pine. Sale Area 2 is a 47-acre marked fifth row select first thinning of longleaf pine. All pines marked with blue paint at eye
level are to be harvested. All unmarked pines are to remain standing and unharmed. All hardwoods except those within a primary zone, in or around several intermittent sinkholes and throughout sloughs, are to be harvested.
