This project is part of DeKalb County’s Intergovernmental Agreement with Gwinnett County which is being revised to reroute all DeKalb County flows currently discharging to Gwinnett County back to the DeKalb County sewer system. The Sewer system Work to be performed under this Contract consists of furnishing and installing all materials in the Norris Reserve Sewer Force Main Reroute project in accordance with Construction Drawings (Exhibit 1) and Technical Specifications (Exhibit 2). Components included are: approximately 3,380 linear feet of 8”-diameter ductile iron force main on Dennis Springs Road to SR 124, and again from SR 124 to Stonebridge Park Circle to an existing manhole, 5,220 lineal feet of 8”-diameter high density polyethylene force main installed within an abandoned 24”-diameter ductile iron pipe along SR 124. The project includes installation of an 8”- diameter force main across the Yellow River utilizing trenchless technology, access manholes, air release valves, clearing, grubbing, restoration, and all ancillary improvements.
Sealed Bids will be received by DeKalb County, Georgia, in the Department of Purchasing and Contracting, The Maloof Center, 2nd Floor, 1300 Commerce Drive, Decatur, Georgia 30030, until 3:00 p.m. on the 10th day of July, 2020, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud, for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and all things necessary pursuant to Drawings, Specifications, conditions, etc., for Norris Reserve Sewer Force Main Reroute (“the Project”).
