Start Date: July 1, 2024 DOT Estimated End Date: August 30, 2024 Anticipated Final Acceptance: 30 days after notice to proceed This is project is exempt from state sales tax. Davis- Bacon Wages to not apply. Questions: Until the contract is awarded the sole point of contact for this project is Julie Brown (see bid contract information) any and all questions related to this project included during a
site visit are to be submitted to Julie Brown in writing preferably through the ION wave Bid system. (See the cut off period for question submissions and Site Visit scheduling indicated below) Site Visit: Site visits are recommended. Interested bidders can schedule a site visit with the Purchasing Agent listed on the solicitation via email @ julie.brown@iowadot.us. DOT will coordinate with staff and send you confirmation once the site visit has been scheduled. Contractors will be required to bring their own equipment needed for the site visit. Contract Award One contract will be awarded for all items in the form of a Purchase Order. All items are tied. It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule.
