SJCDPW-RFP-22-03 The San Joaquin County Department of Public Works requests technical proposals from qualified consulting firms to undertake, perform, and complete the tasks set forth in Request for Proposals – SJCDPW-RFP-22-03. The selected consulting firm will perform professional and technical engineering services for the Garden Acres Sustainable Community Plan (PLAN). The PLAN will focus on sustainable transportation improvements related to local and regional multimodal transportation plans and connections within the existing community. The PLAN will identify sustainable improvements that support accessible health, nutrition, education, and human services, housing assistance, and employment opportunities within the Garden Acres Community. The PLAN will focus on facilitating the movement of people and goods between job centers and the community through alternative modes of transportation. The requested services will include extensive outreach, proposing complete street designs, evaluating circulation and making recommendations, and identifying investment strategies for the construction of future improvements. CONSULTANT will be requested to enter into a Consultant Services Agreement with San Joaquin County (County). All work shall comply with San Joaquin County Policies. The requested professional services shall include, but will not be limited to, the following: • Transportation demand forecasting and modeling • Multi-Modal Analysis • Safety Analysis • Hydrological Analysis • Pedestrians/Bicycle facilities development • Public Transit analysis and improvement recommendation • Extensive stakeholder outreach/meetings 12/10/2022 12:00 AM
