SOURCES SOUGHT for GASEOUS METHANE at Edwards AFRLIntroduction This is a Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought notice issued by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy Aerospace – San Antonio, Texas. The Defense Logistics Agency Energy (DLA Energy), as the Department of Defense (DoD) Integrated Materiel Manager (IMM) for Aerospace Energy products and related services, requires delivery of bulk Gaseous Methane (GCH4) to Edwards AFB, CA. The Contractor shall provide all products, raw materials, supplies, management, tools, equipment, and labor necessary for the delivery of GCH4. The GCH4 delivery shall be made f.o.b. origin into a Government provided tube trailer. Gaseous Methane, GCH4 (NSN: 9135-01-666-2409), 98.7% purity, shall conform to the requirements of Type I, Grade A of specification MIL-PRF 32207A dated 15 June 2021.Specification Requirements:DLA Aerospace Energy intends to award a firm fixed price contract for the procurement of bulk Gaseous Methane, GCH4 (NSN:
9135-01-666-2409), 98.7% purity, shall conform to the requirements of Type I, Grade A of specification MIL-PRF 32207A dated 15 JUNE 2021.One copy of the Certificate of Analysis (COA) for each sample required by the specification shall be submitted by the Contractor as an attachment to Wide Area Workflow (WAWF). In addition, the Contractor shall include a copy of COA to accompany each delivery to be provided to acceptor at delivery destination. Inspection for quality shall be performed at origin. Acceptance shall be performed at origin. Quantity determination shall be performed by the Contractor using a truck mounted calibrated flow meter or certified weight scales on site. Unit of issue for GCH4 shall be MC (Thousand Standard Cubic Feet) for all documentation. The period of performance is 01 June 2024-31 May 2029.
