Fire Protection and Fire Alarm Upgrades

Project DescriptionThe project will replace aged sprinklers throughout the majority of campus buildings and improve zoning by adding control assemblies at each floor in several buildings. The fire alarm scope will replace fire alarm panel and annunciator panel and add fiber from fire alarm panel to nearest data closet for system communication in buildings A-F, Grants Office, Central Receiving, Prairie Place University Housing, and the Family Development Center. The fire alarm will be a complete system replacement in the G building and Facility Services Building (FSB). The bid will consist of three divisions of work: General, Electrical and Fire Protection. The General Contractor will be the coordinating contractor including misc. patching/painting and ceiling work associated with the fire protection contractor and electrical contractor scopes of work. Each division of work has a separate 20% certified BEP goal and a 2% Veteran business inclusion
