Added:Feb 27, 2018 3:13 pmThe Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is issuing this Sources Sought (SS) and Request for Information (RFI) for the acquisition of services and support related to procuring and integrating existing and emerging technologies and equipment that will help to modernize the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution and Disposition Warehouses and Operations.The purpose of this RFI is to conduct Market Research focused on identifying firms and businesses interested in, and capable of, providing services and support to DLA by undertaking efforts to modernize the DLA Distribution and Disposition Warehouses and OperationsFurther information regarding this RFI is described in the attached documents, RFI - Request For Information Notice For DLA Logistics Modernization Integration Support (LMIS), Attachment 1 - Past Performance Form and Attachment 2 - Additional Information Form.The attachments are only for the purposes of providing a response to the SS/RFI. The purpose of this forum is to provide our industry partners an avenue to learn about the mission of DLA Distribution and to encourage an open dialogue and exchange of information and ideas with our industry partners. Industry will hear from the organization's staff and gain insight into DLA Distribution's strategic and operational objectives. Industry will learn about DLA Distribution and how to do business with us. Information regarding this event may be found under notice SP3300-19-SS-5011.A presolicitation conference for the DLA Logistics Modernization Implementation Support (LMIS) effort will be held June 13. The purpose of this forum is to provide prospective offerors with information related to the Eastern Distribution Center Modernization effort, as well as other DLA Distribution enterprise Modernization initiatives. This conference will specifically address the proposed acquisition strategy, technical information related to the requirement, and provide industry the ability give feedback regarding DLA's strategy to procure Modernization efforts.
