PRE-SOLICITATION SYNOPSIS DESCRIPTION The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 20 5115 NE 82nd Ave, Suite 102, Vancouver, WA 98662, is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for as-needed, NON-EMERGENT, secure transport at the Alaska VA Healthcare System. Locations for contracted Secure Escort/Transportation Services for both ambulatory and/or litter patients (with or without restraints) include: the Main Clinic, 1201 North Muldoon, Anchorage AK; Domiciliary, 3001 C Street, Anchorage AK; Joint Venture Hospital, JBER, 5955 Zeamer Ave., JBER, AK; to/from local Anchorage hospitals. Contractor shall provide all vehicles, personnel, and equipment required to pro vide secure transport service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (24/7), includ ing weekends and holidays, to beneficiaries of Alaska VA in accordance with the Statement of Work. The solicitation, specifications and other attachments will be available for download on FedBizOpps (FBO) (http://www.fbo.gov) on or about 14 December 2018, with an anticipated quote due date of 21 December 2018. In order to view these documents, prospective offerors are required to self- register their firm with FBO (Go to http://www.fbo.gov and Register Now under Vendor / Citizens ). Registrants are responsible for the accuracy of the information on the registration list. The anticipated award date is 31 December 2018. The period of performance of the resulting contract will start on or about 1 January 2018 and will require completion no later than 30 November
