ADA-07021 Proposal to Extend a State Airport Land Lease at Bethel Airport

The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to extend Lease ADA-07021 (Lot 4E, Block 12), consisting of approximately 16,500 square feet, at Bethel Airport for an additional 20 years. Applicant: Riverside Apartments, LLC. Annual rent: $2,953.50. Authorized uses: Aeronautical - Operation and maintenance of a hangar for storage and parking of aircraft; limited aircraft maintenance; ground school training: flight support, aviation safety and security training, aircraft maintenance training, aviation communication training, and aviation ground support training; aircraft tie-down rental; vehicle parking; and air taxi operations.This is an application filed under AS 02.15.090(c), which allows the Department to grant the proposed lease term extension without competition. Written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., May 20, 2022, after which the Department will determine whether or not to extend the lease.
