The Government will not pay for any effort expended or any material provided in response to this announcement, nor will the Government return any data provided.Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) is seeking 8(a) Business Development (BD) Program participants that can provide a full range of maintenance, repair, removal, installation, and assistance in the design of heating, cooling, air conditioning and refrigeration systems onboard Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet (COMPACFLT) berthing & messing barges.The contractor will provide maintenance, repair and installation services for: heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and their components, including heating systems up to and

including 750,000 BTU/hour and air conditioning and refrigeration equipment up to and including 300 tons. Additionally, the contractor shall provide support services in troubleshooting; maintenance; repair; installation, modification, and alteration for all equipment; components; devices; and associated systems including refrigerators; under-counter reefers; stand-up reefers; salad bars; freezers; compressors; condensers; foundation; evaporators; cooling coils; condensate and drip pans; blowers; fans; duct work; dampers; registers; grilles; motors; drive assemblies; pumps; service valves; piping; purge units; control systems; wiring; thermostats; temperature controls; air filters; heating/air conditioning units; and all other equipment/components deemed essential to maintain proper operation of the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment in accordance with the original manufacturer's specifications and applicable documents/references.Place of performance: The work associated with this effort will be accomplished at government facilities and private shipyards in San Diego, CA.SWRMC is contemplating a firm-fixed-price contract.
