The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified SMALL BUSINESS sources to perform a potential requirement under NAICS Code: 561210, Facilities Support Services. Responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. It is incumbent upon the interested party to review www.sam.gov for updates on this notice. The National Park Service (NPS) in the Pacific West Region (PWR) Golden Gate National Recreation Major Acquisition Buying Office is conducting market research to understand the numbers and types of contractors who have the capability and are interested in

providing the following services:The NPS has a requirement, and is soliciting for, a fully capable facility maintenance support services contractor that shall be responsible for the successful and effective performance of basic preventative maintenance services, on a daily basis, within the property line of Alcatraz Island. The National Park Service, Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GOGA) has a requirement to perform Facility Preventative Maintenance on Alcatraz Island. Government anticipates recurring service requirements for preventative maintenance services. Work will be performed under a single contract consisting of one awardee. Contract awarded will contain a 6-month base period of performance and four (4) 1-year option periods (exercised at the discretion of the federal government).The U.S. Department of Interior, National Park Service is contemplating the issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Preventative Maintenance Services on Alcatraz Island, CA. Interested parties should submit their response in either .doc or .pdf compatible format via email to daniel_rosales@nps.gov. Please submit capability statement no later than the time specified in the notice. Submission should not be more than ten (10) pages plus cover sheet.
