REQUEST FOR INFORMATIONHanscom Air Force Base Conference Center Facility, Building 1106Audio Visual Upgrades DISCLAIMER: THIS IS A NOTICE OF A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. IT IS NOT A SOLICITATION NOR DOES IT GUARANTEE A SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED.The 66th Air Base Group (66 ABG) operates the Hanscom Conference Center in Building 1106 as a meeting and conference center venue. Users include base personnel (military, civilian and contractors) including Flag and General Officers, Senior Level Civilians, as well as external parties. The Conference Center is a high demand space used extensively throughout the year, requiring advanced connectivity and audio-visual (A/V) needs for presentations, meetings, and conferences. The current technology used within the Conference Center was installed over nine years ago and relies on lamp-based projection in all rooms. Most meetings within the Conference Center require the ability to utilize video teleconferencing (VTC) to connect Hanscom with other
locations and meeting attendees outside of Hanscom. The current connection capability in all rooms is via HDMI on a laptop. Now, with the creation and increased use of Microsoft Teams, USB connectivity for Cameras/Mics has become the new requirement capability, replacing traditional unclassified VTC. The work required under this acquisition consists of providing the necessary labor, material, and equipment to support upgrading the displays, control system, audio, and visual components in all six (6) rooms and the common areas displays in which operated as overflow areas as documented in the Statement of Work. The goal is to enhance the current offerings of the Conference Center by leveraging the latest technology and will allow for future iterative updates to the facility. TheThe work required under this acquisition will also consists of providing maintenance and technical support services after the completion of the initial installation of A/V upgrades. Please reference the attached Draft Statement of Work (SOW) and RFI Attachment for more information.
