Description: Purpose of Procurement Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier who will provide University Housing Microfridge Rental Agreement to the University of Georgia (the State Entity) as further described in this eRFP. University Housing at the University of Georgia seeks to establish a revenue contract with a supplier to provide students with optional microwave & refrigerator/freezer combination units, also referred to as ¿micro-fridge¿, rental program as described herein. This will be awarded to one vendor. The RFP provides the awarded vendor will not receive any payment from the University. Instead, the vendor will be expected to fund its operations based on the profits the vendor is able to make through its sales with the students. The RFP further provides that vendors must offer to pay the University a percentage of the sales in exchange for the business opportunity.
