BID #01-24-12 - Thompson Road Reconstruction

The City of Keene is seeking a contractor to perform the Thompson Road Reconstruction project. Please note this project requires special Contractor Qualifications. These are outlined in the Specifications, Division 31, item 315100-Permanent Solider Pile Wall. B. CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS 1. The work defined in this Section is specialty construction requiring a specialty contractor who is knowledgeable and experienced in the fabrication and installation of soldier pile walls and shotcrete. The Contractor performing the work in this Section shall submit proof of three (3) projects within five (5) years on which the Contractor has successfully installed similar walls. A brief description of each project with the owner’s name and contact information shall be included. 2. The Contractor shall provide an experienced supervising Foreman with at least 5 years of experience in the construction of permanent soldier pile walls. The Contractor’s supervising Foreman shall be present at all times during execution of this portion of the Work and shall be thoroughly experienced with materials being installed, reference standards, and requirements of this work. 3. The Contractor shall provide experienced shotcrete nozzlemen with at least 5 years of experience in the construction of permanent wall facings. The shotcrete for the wall facing shall only be installed by the Contractor’s certified nozzlemen. 4. The Contractor shall submit a list identifying the Foremen and nozzlemen assigned to the Project.The list shall contain a summary of each individual’s experience and qualifications.
