MTA IT requires consulting services on an as‐needed basis to support various information technology projects (which will be labeled "Work Assignments"). A Work Assignment may involve: A software development or implementation project, for which the consultant will be responsible for project management and specific deliverables; or providing temporary technical and professional staff with specific IT skills to fill vacancies, when emergencies arise, or to augment project staff, for which the consultant will under the day‐to‐day supervision of MTA or MTA agency project manager. The intent of this Request for Proposal process is to create several qualified MWBE firms, as well as non‐MWBE firms, who will enter into a retainer agreement. with the MTA to establish a pool that will be eligible for consideration for the award of Work
