Status: Open The Whistler Public Library is a much loved and well-used civic building, and serves a diverse and important role with the community of Whistler. However, the community has grown and changed significantly

since the library was designed and opened its doors in 2007. The purpose of this request for quotation is to ensure that the library continues to innovate and evolve to meet the changing needs of the community it serves. A needs assessment has identified a need for two new private meeting rooms to provide designated areas to allow for talking and individual phone conversations that do not impact quiet study space. The scope of work is in the attached drawings and includes; Interior tenant improvement renovation to the existing Quiet Carrels of the library. Renovation to include installation of glazed partitions and drywall to enclose two of the rooms and convert them into private meeting room. The work shall also include all demolition and removal of debris required for the renovation Mechanical works will be affected. Install of Electrical and Data points as required. Other miscellaneous repair and marking good items. Refer to the RFQ and drawings for detailed specifications.
