THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL/QUOTE OR BID.The UWC National Forest may issue Solicitation No. 1240LS24R0004.The Guinavah-Malibu site includes a campground, group sites, trailhead, day-use area with picnic sites and a historical amphitheater. Special care to protect and retain existing CCC Historical features throughout the site is required. Base Bid:Demolition:Obliterating existing roads that are to be removed.Removal of Crack Willow and Marked Hazard trees and existing

exposed tree stumps throughout the site.Removal existing site furnishings (tables, concrete slabs, fire rings, water hydrants).Removal of 1 Slump Block toilet building.Guinavah-Malibu Campground:Constructing a new campground "loop", including new road, spurs, restrooms, family units and site furniture.Constructing a new entrance road and central intersection, with pull-out and kioskRealigning existing roads and intersections.Installing new road signs and campsite unit numbersConstruct Right Turn Lane on US HWY 89.Install CXT ToiletsDay-Use Area, Group Sites, Crimson Trailhead:Constructing a new road, day-use parking area, surfaces will be a mix of aggregate and asphalt.Install a new bulletin board.Constructing a new picnic area, including a pathway system, signs and site furniture.Construction pavilions with site furnishingsInstall CXT ToiletsOptional Bid Items:Option #1: Asphalt PavingPlace 3” asphalt pavement on Roads, Parking Areas, and Spurs.Option #2: PavilionsErect pavilions at group sites.Option #3: Amphitheater RestorationRemoval of existing amphitheater seating planks and posts.Installing new wood plan benches and supports,Constructing accessible pathwayConstructing new wood stairsInstalling pathway lightingConstruct pavilion with site furnishingsThis is not a solicitation and in no way commits the Government to award a contract.
