2024 Water Main Renewals - Contract 2 Project Description :D3. SCOPE OF WORK D3.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of installation of water mains in the St. James and Fort Rouge areas of the City of Winnipeg. D3.2 The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Installation of approximately 1055m of 150mm diameter PVC water main pipe by trenchless method; (b) Abandonment of existing water mains as required; (c) Removal/abandonment of existing hydrant assemblies and gate valves as required; (d) Installation of valves and hydrant assemblies; (e) Reconnection or renewal of water service connections; (f) Restoration of pavement and boulevard areas.
