NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCETHIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.  This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract.  The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) intends to award a sole source contract for services to maintain the Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes (OLHCHH) Grant Management System.  The Grant Management System provides application processing, document management, grant tracking, and quarterly progress reporting.  Services to maintain the system are required to ensure that a continuity of operations are sustained.  This sole source award is being made on the basis of the urgency of the need for the required services.  A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  The Sole Source Justification is attached to this
