The Scope of Work to be performed under these Contract Documents is generally described as follows: Contract 1 – Water Line Improvements includes furnishing and installing all piping, hydrants, valves, bores, pavement restoration, site work, accessories and appurtenances required for fully operational water line extensions as described in the specifications and as shown on the contract drawings, including but not limited to replacement of approximately 3,800 LF of 12” and smaller water line, service meters, and related improvements. Contract 2 – Sewer Line Improvements includes furnishing and installing all piping, laterals, manholes, bores, pavement restoration, site work, accessories and appurtenances required for fully operational sewer line extensions as described in the specifications and as shown on the contract drawings, including but not limited to replacement of approximately 1,500 LF of 8” gravity sewer line, service cleanouts, and related improvements. An Additive Bid Item is being considered for replacement of approximately 500 LF of 48” and smaller storm sewer, inlets, and related improvements. The work performed under this Contract shall include, but may not be limited to: the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment and services, whether specifically mentioned or not, that is required to complete the Construction of the Work of the project. All requirements of the State of North Carolina and all pertinent administrative regulations shall apply to this project as if herein written out in full.
