Safety Learning System (SLS) software and Support Services

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Quality Safety & Value, and South Texas Veterans Health Care System intends to award a firm fixed price sole-source contract to HB Healthcare Safety, SBC, a woman owned small business for HB Healthcare Safety, Safety Learning System (SLS) software and support under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501 entitled, “Special Documentation Requirements.” The justification for this noncompetitive solicitation is due to HB Healthcare Safety, SBC being the sole supplier of HB Healthcare Safety, Safety Learning System (SLS) and support. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541618 Other Management Consulting Services with a size standard of $16.5M.
