Sole Source J&A for purchase of ADMS-AIRBASE Trng Sys Support Plan

 NOTICE OF SOLE SOURCE AWARD The 673d Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska, awarded a sole source purchase order to Environmental Tectonics Corp (ETC) for the purchase of maintenance and upgrades to JBER Fire Department's ADMS-AIRBASE simulation machines used for emergency response and incident command training. While the initial requirement for two training machines was competed amongst NETCENTS-II vendors and awarded to a small business concern in 2015, ETC has since decided to become the sole provider of service and maintenance for their products.This purchase was made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Circumstances Permitting Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.106(b) & 6.302-1(a)(2). This requirement was awarded on 9 March 2018 and this notice satisfies the availability of justification required by FAR 6.305(a). It will remain posted for a minimum of 30 days.
