Sealed bids will be received by Lanier County at the Commission Office, 56 W. Main Steet, Suite 9, Lakeland, GA 31635, until 10:00 a.m. on November 21, 2023, for the construction of a new building to be the Lanier County Health Department, at which time and place they will be opened publicly and read aloud. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the scheduled time for receiving the bids. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount of not less than five (5) percent of the amount bid. A Contract Performance Bond and Payment Bond equal to one hundred percent of the contract price will be required of the awarded contractor. A mandator pre-bid meeting will be held at the Lanier County Annex, 162 W. Thigpen Ave., Lakeland, GA 31635 on November 3, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and to re-advertise.
