Online Q&A Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 10/05/2023 3:00 PM (PDT) Contact Information Contact Info Precious Carter 909-384-5242 purchasing@sbcity.org Bids to Owner's Agent Description Scope of Services • This program should take referrals exclusively through the City Outreach Team. • The Hotel/Motel is responsible for Check-in and Out of the referred client. • The Hotel/Motel is agreeing to not turn away referrals based on race, sex, religion, and or being homeless. • The Hotel/Motel understands the community served is unhoused and the Outreach team uses the Housing First model. • Payment to the Hotel/Motel will never be requested by the client. • The Hotel/Motel will treat the clients referred over as all other paying guests. The client will be entitled to all Hotel/Motel accommodation. • The housekeeping schedule should be daily unless denied by the clients. • Length of stay is only determined by Hope the Mission. Hope the Mission will terminate or extend the stay on a case-by-case basis. • Length of stay should not exceed a total cost of $5,000 per room unless prior approval is received by the City Housing Department. • HTM may terminate the client’s stay at any time and will notify Hotel/Motel mgmt. • The Hotel/Motel will notify HTM and the City if the client vacates the room. • The Hotel/Motel will send monthly invoices to the Housing Department. The Housing Department verifies the client's stays and pending payment with Hope the Mission. • The Hotel/Motel agrees to promote decent, safe, and sanitary housing that's free from environmental hazards such as asbestos insulation and lead-based paint for all clients. • If the room is damaged, the City will agree to pay a set fee disclosed during the contract agreement. • The Hotel/Motel agrees to mediate any issues that may arise with the HTM. • No additional cost will be added to the invoice other than the daily rate agreed upon. • Hotel/Motels contracted with will accept service animals. • The Hotel/Motel has the right to refuse service or terminate stay at any time if mediation is not an option.
