Sealed bids will be received and considered by: Community Action Agency of Delaware County, Due Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 4:00 PM, via PennBid for Wesley House Community Shelter Mechanical Systems Upgrades, 701 Madison Street, Chester, PA 19013. The project will be awarded under (1) one Prime Contract. Project Consists of the repairs and upgrades to the existing geothermal HVAC system. A mandatory on-site Pre-Bid Meeting will occur on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 10:00 am. on the forms furnished by the Owner and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond issued by a Surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the total price bid made payable to the Owner.This project will require payment of Pennsylvania prevailing wages. The successful bidder will be required to provide Prevailing Wage Determination Schedule and Weekly Payroll Certification Forms with all Invoices/Applications for Payment.The Bidder's attention is called to the fact that this project is governed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Commonwealth Financing Authority (as “grantor”), Delaware County Industrial Development Authority (as “grantee”), and Community Action Agency of Delaware County (as “sub-grantee”). Specific terms and conditions outlined and provided in Section B, Articles 20 and 21 shall apply to the successful bidder’s contract.Award of Contract will be to the lowest responsible bidder, but the Owner reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities.
