N66001-17-R-0150: Notice of Intent to Award a Contract on a Sole Source Basis

Jun 27, 2017 6:35 pm Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Pacific (SSC Pacific) intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to Gaven Shielding Services, LLC (a Woman Owned Small Business) to produce, integrate, and test three (3) new High-Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) compliant shelters to house and protect equipment of the AN/TRC-194 Radio Terminal Station (commonly known as the EHF transportable terminal) or other future equipment, and two (2) forklift capable pallets to mount fully assembled EHF antenna assemblies that will minimize set-up and teardown operations. The EHF transportable terminal is a mobile command post terminal capable of secure communications in the EHF range. The terminal is able to enter the communications system and provide command, control, and communications functions required to operate with the constellation of MILSTAR EHF communications satellites. The resultant contract will be issued under the Woman Owned Small Business Sole Source Program.
