INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY RESPONDENTS TO THIS TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY.CONTRACT/PROGRAM BACKGROUND:Contract Number: HQContract Type: Firm Fixed-PriceIncumbent and their size:Method of previous acquisition:Provide Brief description of the current program/effort: Digital Asset Management (DAM)List Anticipated Time Frame: July 2019 - July 2020, plus 4 Option YearsList Place of Performance: DMA HQREQUIRED CAPABILITIES:The requirement is for a Digital Asset Management (DAM) software that meets the specifications listed:• Software must be able to function utilizing Network Attached Storage that supports SMB, NFS and ISCI connections; provided and maintained by DMA• Software must be able to installed and run on premise; utilizing dedicated servers or be capable of being run on VM ware or equivalent.• Must provide cyber security capability to include support multiple levels of enterprise security; application level, OS level, file system and user security• Granular permissions to control what content may be viewed and what tools are available to users• Provide limited access to outside users for workflow and or project approvals using permission driven temporary accounts• Powerful search tools, including Boolean searching, and field level searching including date range and the use of controlled vocabularies on input (data entry) and search.• Generate searchable text from ingested Audio, Video and Documents natively from within the Software User Interface without the use of a file generating external plugin or other system.• Upload, store, share and retrieve a multitude of file types and formats to include camera raw video, photo, audio, graphic, PDF's, and standard Microsoft office documents.• The solution should be able to work multiple video formats as well as multiple graphic file types (.mxf, .mov, mp4, .png, .jpg, tiff, EPS, AI etc.)• Create and output frame grabs and clips and generate an Edit Decision List (EDL)• Ability to crop and mark sub clips or frames from within an ingested video asset and auto generate file download• Create searchable labels and descriptions for marked audio frames and clips• The asset management solution should have the ability to integrate with the Adobe CC suite of applications• Provide file format options for downloaded still picture assets. (.bmp, .gif, .jpeg, .pdf, .png, .psd, .tiff)• Speech-to-text capabilities for audio and video files and index text in layered file formats (PDF, EPS, AI, PSD) from images automatically• Metadata batch editing with templates to speed data entry.• Potential integration with Google Cloud Vision AI or equivalent technology• Supports bulk upload of assets• Bulk Download of assets• Email assets from within the DAM application• Ability to Crop photos (JPG, TIF)• Support for IPTC/XMP metadata standard• Ability to Link assets together SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: N/ASOURCES SOUGHT:This Sources Sought Synopsis is requesting responses to the following criteria from any business size that can provide the required services under the NAICS Code.To assist DMA in making a determination regarding the level of participation by small business in any subsequent procurement that may result from this Sources Sought, you are also encouraged to provide information regarding your plans to use joint venturing (JV) or partnering to meet each of the requirements areas contained herein.
