THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE1. The proposed solicitation will be solicited as unrestricted. NAICS is 812320, Drycleaning and Laundry Services (except Coin-Operated).2. Description of Services: Hospital laundry services for Boise VAMC. The Contractor shall process all items within a 24-hour turn-around time. The processing facility shall be within a 100-mile radius of the Boise VAMC. The processing facility layout/design shall incorporate a "design for asepsis" whereby clean linen does not come into contact with soiled linens nor share the same physical space, thus avoiding cross-contamination or reintroduction of bacteria once processed.3. Period of Performance: The Period of Performance is a base with four (4) option years. 52.217-8 will be included for an additional six-month extension, if applicable.
