Description :-LBB046244 LOWER EAST SIDE LIBRARY RENOVATION PHASE II Three (3) sealed bids (1 Original, 2 Copies) and one (1) digital copy to be submitted for the Lower East Side Renovation Phase II. Submissions will be received by the City of Bridgeport, Department of Public Purchases, 999 Broad Street, Bridgeport, CT 066604 until 2:00 p.m., April 10, 2024, and then at said office will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Lower East Side Library is seeking construction services to begin Phase II renovations. The Library currently operates on the 1st floor of an existing two-story structure utilizing approximately 6,700 sf. The Library is looking to expand and renovate their facility by: Renovating a portion of the 1 Floor for new Office Spaces and a large Community Room Adding a new Elevator and Stairway Complete fit out renovation to the second floor with new book stack areas, media room, and studies providing approximately 4,500 sq ft of finished space Fit out renovation to the

basement to provide a new Multi-Purpose Room Façade renovation with new thin-stone veneer and new store front window system PRE-BID WALK THRU A pre-bid walk-thru is encouraged and will take place on Wednesday, March 13 @ 10:00am at Lower East Side Library, 1174 East Main Street, Bridgeport CT for all interested parties. The thin stone veneer system shall be manufactured by Custom Cast Stone - Westfield, Indiana or approved equal. Thin stone veneer shall have smooth finish texture. Color to be selected from manufactures standard colors.
