agencies on aging (“AAAs”) for the fiscal years ending June 30, 2021, through June 30, 2023.The Department receives approximately $80 million annually in federal and state grants, the bulk of which is sub-awarded to the Department’s nineteen AAAs for administration of the programs funded by grant awards. The State of Maryland Office of Legislative Audits conducts, on a regular basis, reviews of agency records to ensure compliance with State guidelines regarding review of sub-awardees. Accordingly, the Department needs a financial consultant that will conduct these reviews.
