The work consists of: • Open cut 340 linear feet 8-inch clay sewer and replacement with 8-inch PVC (Sch A); • Pipe bursting approximately 381linear feet existing 8-inch clay sewer and replacement with 10- inch HDPE pipe (Sch B); • Combination open cut and pipe bursting approximately 564 10-inch concrete sewer and replacement with 10-inch PVC and 4-inch and/or 6-inch HDPE and PVC services. Long side services shall be burst, short side open cut (Sch D); • Open cut approximately 176 linear feet existing 4-inch concrete/ductile storm and replacement with 12-inch PVC mainline and 10-inch ductile iron laterals (Sch G); • Open cut and install approximately 86 linear feet 12-inch PVC storm mainline and 10-inch PVC laterals (Sch H); • Video inspecting, locating and reconnecting, replacing or rerouting sewer service and storm drain laterals by open cut or pipe bursting, removal/construction of sewer and/or storm manholes, cleanouts, and catch basins, removal and replacement of sidewalks, sidewalk ramps, driveways, asphalt paving, curb, curb and gutter, constructing required appurtenances and other work as shown on the Plans. The prime contractor or subcontractor must have a minimum field experience for HDPE pipe bursting installation of three (3) successfully completed projects totaling a minimum of 2,000 linear feet of mainline using the proposed pipe bursting technologies.
